Ya know you're never gonna survive unless you get a little crazy...

And this is just something I find a little crazy...

Hmm...living jewelry? I personally wouldn't wear this, but it is a pretty neat and interesting concept. The lady who does these has quite a few different jewelry types such as this; check them out here...

Paint a Perfect Perfect Picture, Bring to Life a Vision in One's Mind...

I began painting about four or five years ago. As of now, my walls are filled with paintings I have done. It's really kind of amazing how many different painting mediums there are and what artists are able to do with them...

When I began painting I disovered that I really enjoyed working with oil paints; however, oil paints are pretty messy and require paint thinner to water them down (not a good smell). Now I tend to stick with acrylics on canvas.

Here's one I've done...

It's Not Just for Hippies Anymore...

Here is a bit about vegetarianism...
People are vegetarians for many reasons, including concern for personal health and the environment, economic and world hunger concerns, compassion for animals, belief in nonviolence, food preferences, or spiritual reasons. People may become vegetarians for one reason, and then later on adopt some of the other reasons as well.

Vegans or strict vegetarians:
exclude all animal products (e.g. meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk, cheese, and other dairy products). Many vegans also do not eat honey.

Lactovegetarians:
exclude meat, poultry, fish, and eggs but include dairy products.

Lacto-ovovegetarians:
exclude meat, poultry, and fish but include dairy products and eggs. Most vegetarians in the US are lacto-ovovegetarians.

Reasons to become a vegetarian (aside from animal cruelty)...

According to the ADA, vegetarians are at lower risk for developing:
Heart disease
Colorectal, ovarian, and breast cancers
Diabetes
Obesity
Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Quick Fact: The total direct medical costs in the United States attributable to meat consumption were estimated to be $30-60 billion a year

Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

Hello everyone; let's start with a quick introduction shall we? My name is Lindsay, I am 21 years old, and I have a beautiful daughter named Jadynn Jo...who, I might add, turns one on Sunday!

Check out http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/tipFirstBDay.htm for great (and healthy) cake recipes for a babies first birthday!

I have been a vegetarian for about six years, I love to paint, read, write, make jewelry, and spend time with Jadynn. Also, I am taking five classes at Western Technical College and working at Kwik Trip.

As a closing note for today, I'll leave you with some Pink Floyd...

"Long you live and high you fly. Smiles you give and tears you cry. All that you touch and all that you see, is all your life will ever be."
